A superb location to explore Eryri (Snowdonia), Anglesey, Porthmadog & the Llyn Peninsula

In the most beautiful location, on the edge of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Grafog farm is  in a superb location to explore Eryri (Snowdonia), Anglesey and the LLyn Peninsula. Only a ten minute drive from the Royal town of Caernarfon and many superb local beaches.

Opposite the site we have the Inigo Jones Slateworks, Gerlan farm shop and cafe, also the popular Lon Eifion cycle, walking route. We are popular with hikers and cyclists, and all who enjoy the outdoors, you will find may footpaths to take you into the hills. We are also on route for hikers walking the North Wales Pilgrims Way.

The Isle of Anglesey with it’s beautiful beaches and great restaurants is a short drive away.  In fact, the location is so perfectly placed that most of the North Wales attractions are no more than a half hour’s drive away and you will have plenty to explore.

Alongside our horses, and other animals, the farm is also home to the endangered lesser horseshoe bats, as well as owls, squirrels, herons and an abundance of wildlife.

Fantastic Site

A fantastic site. Immaculately clean and tidy. Beautiful shower and toilet facilities, with washing up facilities adjacent. Simon is extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I just wish I could have stopped longer!

Well Kept Pitches

Lovely little campsite, very peaceful and well kept pitches. It was nice to see the horses in the adjacent field and a little shy kitty came to visit us in the evening. Easy to get into town in either direction (in our case using cycle route n8). Shower and toilets were very clean and easily accessible. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming! Definitely recommended and would stay here again.

Fantastic Break for Two

It’s a cracker of a site. Just left today and already planning next visit there. Facilities are very clean, location handy for lots of Wales’s tourist spots, and the owner is such a nice Guy and very helpful. Thank you again for out stay, Glenys and John
